David Spann

LCSW, LCAS, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, joined Carolina Partners in 2014. He earned his Master of Science in Social Work at Florida Gulf Coast University and his BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia. Mr. Spann previously worked as an Adult Outpatient Therapist at Family Preservation Services and as an Assertive Community Treatment Team Leader at October Road Inc. in Asheville, NC as well as leading three National Alliance on Mental illness Affiliates and is currently a state trainer of teachers for the NAMI family classes. He has lectured in many settings including law enforcement as part of their crisis intervention training. Mr Spann treats ages 13 and up at our South Asheville, NC office and specializes in PTSD, Dual Diagnosis, Persistent Mental Illness, Chronic Pain and Marriage and Family Interventions.
