L. Ralph Jones

MD, Doctor of Medicine, joined Carolina Partners in 2013. He earned his MD from Kansas University School of Medicine, and has been practicing mental health care for over 40 years. Dr Jones has previously worked as the Medical Director at the Mission Hospital Psychiatry Department and Prime Doc Psychiatry Services in Asheville, NC. He is board certified in psychiatry and has recently received the William Bruce Award for outstanding contributions in the fields of Psychology and Behavioral Medicine. Dr. Jones has also published several books and is currently a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the North Carolina Medical Society, and the North Carolina Psychiatric Association. He is currently treating patients ages 18 and up in our South Asheville, NC office and specializes in medication management for substance abuse, mood/psychotic disorders, anxiety and depression.
