Jessica Hairston

MD, Doctor of Medicine, Psychiatrist, joined Carolina Partners once in 2007, and now again in 2010. We're thrilled to welcome her back to our Durham practice. Dr. Hairston earned her BS in Chemistry from Duke University, and her MD from UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at Medical College of Virginia and a fellowship in Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Hairston's previous work experience includes private practice and work as an Infant, Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist at Easter Seals UCP. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Hairston is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists. She has also given back to the community by volunteering for organizations such as Vaishnava C.A.R.E., a hospice program for dying persons and their families. Dr. Hairston treats all ages up to 65 in our Durham, NC office, for general psychiatry, and specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry with a focus on trauma-related disorders and childhood disorders.
