Harriet Buerckholtz, MS, LPC

Harriett is a Licensed Professional Counselor providing mental health therapy to North Carolina couples, adults and families since 2006.  Her professional career includes inpatient therapy services to psychiatric patients at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem and Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.  She began her private outpatient practice in 2008 while residing in Winston Salem and joined Carolina Partners (CPMH) after moving to Asheville.

 Through experience and specialized training Harriett will work with you to improve coping skills when addressing any of the following challenges:  Depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, marital conflicts, anger, stress, fear, thought disorders, bipolar disorders, past or present abuse and social stressors. 

She is a certified IMAGO relationship therapist and EMDR trained in trauma treatment.  Her Masters in Counseling degree is from North Carolina A&T State University 2003.

Harriett’s passion is working with relationship issues and helping her adult clients discover their own inner power to heal.  She will be there for you as a professional coach, therapist and guide.
