Karen Bennett, PhD, RD, PMHNP-BC

PhD, RD, PMHNP-BC, Doctor of Human Ecology and Public Health Education, Registered Dietitian, Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, joined Carolina Partners in early 2013. She earned her MSN from East Tennessee State University, and her PhD in Human Ecology and Public Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While treating pateints here at Carolina Partners, Ms. Bennett also holds the position of CEO for Enhanced Living For A Better You in La Pine, Oregon. In the past, she has worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for several clinics in North Carolina and Oregon. She is currently a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association and the American Dietetic Association. Ms. Bennett treats ages 18 and up in our Durham, NC office, where she specializes in medication management for depression, anxiety, ADHD and PTSD. She Bennett also uses Medical Nutritional Therapy as a treatment method.
