Carolina Partners uniquely offers a same-day definitive diagnosis of ADHD for ages 6 and up using the Quotient Test by Pearson. This diagnostic tool collects data on the patient's ability to sit still, inhibit impulsivity and respond accurately to images on a computer screen. For years, health professionals have been diagnosing ADHD subjectively, but now thanks to the field of Neuropsychiatry and the Quotient test, people are able to receive accurate, prompt diagnoses the first time.
How does it work?
The Quotient test uses computerized testing, similar to a video game, that involves a motion tracking system, reflectors, an LCD screen, and a keyboard to test the patient. Dr. Sandeep Vaishnavi, MD, PhD integrates the Quotient report with information from other assessment tools to provide an accurate diagnosis and guide treatment decisions.

Carolina Partners introduces its latest definitive form of ADHD testing with NEBA. Clearing up complex cases, NEBA helps our clinicians diagnose patients with more certainty!
NEBA is a brand new type of ADHD test approved by the FDA. It is the first medical device based on brain function that can help assess ADHD in children and adolescents. NEBA improves certainty about ADHD and can help clear up complex cases.
Some children may have ADHD symptoms that are actually due to other conditions. NEBA helps the clinician identify these children. NEBA also supports the clinician's decision to perfom further testing with these children, which may clear up whether a different diagnosis is needed. NEBA takes 15-20 minutes and is performed in the office. NEBA is safe and non-invasive.
Children are more likely to receive the care they need!
