Nicola Gray
MD, Doctor of Medicine, joined Carolina Partners in 2011. She earned her BS in Biology from Harvard University and her MD from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Gray has previously worked as an Adult Psychiatrist at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, at N.C. Neuropsychiatry and in private practice. She has also taught psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. Dr. Gray is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is widely published in many medical journals including the British Journal of Psychiatry, the Journal of Human Psychopharmacology and the Journal of Psychiatric Research. She specializes in the treatment of PMDD, pre-conception counseling, psychotropic drug management throughout pregnancy, recognition of post-partum depression and bipolar disorder in pregnancy and women's issues. Dr. Gray treats adults in the main Durham office.
