Rachel Kushner
ND, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, joined the Carolina Partners Wellness Center in late 2013.  Dr. Kushner is licensed as a naturopathic physician in the state of Connecticut and is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She is trained as a family medicine doctor who has expertise in natural therapeutics.

Dr. Kushner received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and earned her naturopathic medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona. As part of her medical education, Dr Kushner completed a comprehensive two year clinical internship at the SCNM Medical Center. During this time, she focused her clinical training in mental health and pediatric developmental disorders, gastrointestinal disease, women’s health, endocrine disease, cardiovascular disease and auto-immune disease.

Dr. Kushner believes in addressing the underlying cause of disease and not just treating symptoms. She combines the latest scientific information along with natural therapeutics that have been used effectively for centuries, in order to provide individualized treatment plans for all of her patients. Dr. Kushner utilizes a variety of natural treatments including homeopathy, holistic nutrition, nutritional supplementation, lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine and hydrotherapy. She passionately believes that nutrition is the cornerstone of healthy living and finds homeopathy to be an incredibly powerful and effective therapy for treating both physical and mental health concerns.

Dr. Kushner’s objective is to compassionately guide her patients on their path to health so they are able to live life to the fullest. She provides a nurturing, comfortable space where she empowers her patients with the tools necessary for healing mind and body.
