LeKisha Alesii
PhD, Doctor of Philosophy, joined Carolina Partners in early 2012.
She earned her PhD from the University of South Carolina in Columbia,
SC and completed an Internship and Fellowship at Duke University. Dr.
Alesii currently works as a Clinical Psychologist at the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has previously worked as an
Admissions Counselor at Holly Hill Hospital. She is a member of the
African American Mental Health Research Scientist Consortium
(AAMHRSC), the American Psychological Association, and the North
Carolina Psychological Association. She is also widely published in
academic journals including the Journal of African American Studies
and Clinical Journal of Pain.
Dr. Alesii treats ages 18+ at our
New Hope Court Durham, NC office, where she specializes in marital/family therapy,
OCD, dementia, and substance abuse. She also specializes in
psychological testing/assessment for AD/HD, disability determination,
workers compensation determination, and intelligence
