DBT SKILLS TRAINING CLASS beginning Tuesday, January 25, 2005
Dialectical Behavior therapy is not just a set of coping skills but is a way of being. It incorporates mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help you develop a different, more healthful relationship to your whole experience (feelings, thoughts, sensations, events, other people). Among other things, DBT will aid you to: Ø decrease depression Ø decrease anxiety Ø manage stress more effectively Ø cope better with strong emotions/negative moods
DBT CLASS OFFERED BY: Lizzette Potthoff, MSW, LCSW, CCAS DBT Class will meet Tuesdays from 6-7:30pm at the Carolina Partners in Mental HealthCare Chapel Hill office on 10003 W.
