MDDScore™, the First Blood Test Specifically for Depression
The current method of diagnosis for MDD is based on the patient’s self-reported experience, behavior reported by family or friends, and a mental status exam. All of these methods are subjective and the observations often are similar to other conditions, making diagnosis a challenge. Until now, there has been no simple blood test commercially available that is specifically focused on diagnosing depression. The MDDScore™ is available for healthcare providers when seeking to clarify a diagnosis of
MDD in their patients.

What the MDDScore™ means to you and your healthcare provider
The MDDScore™, Ridge Diagnostics first-in-class test uses a standard blood specimen identical to those collected during routine physical exams. Following the testing of your blood sample, your healthcare provider will receive a report
