Her areas of focus are PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Kate was the Director of Roane County Outpatient Facility, where she coordinated with the clinic staff to ensure that individual and group therapies were being properly delivered to all clients seeking services. Kate has led groups for survivors of trauma, focusing on enhancing coping skills and identifying trauma symptoms to ensure positive changes in her patients’ lives. She treats ages 5 and up at our Raleigh, NC location and through our telehealth program, DirectCare.

Why did you choose mental health as a career path?

“I enjoy working with clients that have experienced trauma, helping them take back their power and control. I believe therapy is most helpful when clients learn new ways to make positive changes in their lives.”
