• Stephen Lucente
  PhD, Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, has been with Carolina Partners since 2007.  He earned his BA in Psychology from Hunter College, and his PhD in Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology.  Dr. Lucente taught psychology at the University of Maryland, and has also worked as a clinical and research psychologist for Friends Research Institute, Inc. He has been published in several academic journals including Criminal Justice and Behavior, Clinical Psychology Review, and the Journal of Personality Assessment.  Dr. Lucente treats adolescents and adults in our Chapel Hill, NC office, where he specializes in family and couples therapy, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, OCD, personality disorders and legal and forensic issues.
